Abra Kadabra (comics)
Abra Kadabra (Citizen Abra) is a magical supervillain appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. He first appeared as a villain of the Flash in 1962. Abra Kadabra has made several animated appearances and appeared in two episodes of the live-action Arrowverse series, ''The Flash'', portrayed by David Dastmalchian. Publication history Created by John Broome and Carmine Infantino, the character made his first appearance in ''The Flash'' #128 (May 1962). Fictional character biography Citizen Abra is from the 64th century, at a time when science has made stage magic obsolete. However, he desires a career as a performing magician, so he goes back in time to find an audience to entertain after stealing a time machine and inventing a device to paralyze the guards, and soon clashes with the Flash ( Barry Allen). Oscar Jimenez (comics)
Óscar Jiménez is a Spanish comic book artist, penciller and inker. Career Jimenez started out in 1993 inking Carlos Pacheco's pencils at Marvel UK and rapidly became well known in the American comic industry for his art on titles such as ''The Flash'', '' JLA'' and ''Contest of Champions II''. He commenced work on '' Avataars: Covenant of the Shield'' but, according to editor Tom Brevoort, "Oscar Jimenez fell apart halfway through the project, requiring us to bring in other diverse hands to finsih it up." The artist has recently returned to mainstream American comics work under the pseudonym Juan Barranco, filling in on ''Squadron Supreme''. He is currently doing work on Avatar's ''Gravel'' series as well as '' Chronicles of Wormwood: The Last Battle'', a mini-series being written by Garth Ennis. Arrowverse
The Arrowverse is an American superhero media franchise and a shared universe that is centered on various interconnected television series based on DC Comics superhero characters, primarily airing on The CW as well as web series on CW Seed. The series were developed by Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, Andrew Kreisberg, Geoff Johns, Ali Adler, Phil Klemmer, Salim Akil, Caroline Dries and Todd Helbing. Set in a shared fictional multiverse much like the DC Universe and DC Multiverse in comic books, it was established by crossing over common plot elements, settings, cast and characters that span six live-action television series and two animated series. "One Year Later" is a 2006 comic book storyline running through books published by DC Comics. It involves a narrative jump exactly one year into the future of the DC Universe following the events of the ''Infinite Crisis'' storyline, to explore major changes within the continuities of many different comic books within the DC Comics library. Synopsis Following the events of the ''Infinite Crisis'' storyline, every ''DC Comics'' series jumped ahead in-story by one year. The events of the missing year were depicted in real time in the weekly comic book series '' 52''. Infinite Crisis
"Infinite Crisis" is a 2005–2006 comic book storyline published by DC Comics, consisting of an eponymous, seven-issue comic book limited series written by Geoff Johns and illustrated by Phil Jimenez, George Pérez, Ivan Reis, and Jerry Ordway, and a number of tie-in books. The main miniseries debuted in October 2005, and each issue was released with two variant covers: one by Pérez and one by Jim Lee and Sandra Hope. The series storyline was a sequel to DC's 1985 limited series ''Crisis on Infinite Earths'', which "rebooted" much of the DC continuity in an effort to fix 50 years of contradictory character history. It revisited characters and concepts from that earlier ''Crisis'', including the existence of DC's Multiverse. Dan the Dyna-Mite Dan Turpin Damien Darhk The enigmatic Damien Darhk is an elusive and dangerous criminal mastermind and enemy of the Teen Titans. He makes his first appearance in ''Titans'' #1 (March 1999). Claiming to be a major player in the American underworld and implying he has an army at his disposal, Darhk is shown to be well-established and well-connected despite being in his early 20s and has remained untouchable by the FBI and the CIA. He appears to have some connection to the crime syndicate the H.I.V.E. and has access to unique high-tech equipment unknown to any organization. Darhk uses trickery and forgotten science to make his followers and the public believe he has mystical or magical powers, but is later proven to be a fraud.
