Abiodun Olujimi
Biodun Christine Olujimi (born 25 December 1958) is a Nigerian politician. She is a senator of the Federal Republic Nigeria representing Ekiti South constituency and minority leader of the Nigerian Senate. She was a board member of Nigerian Communications Commission. Early life and education Abiodun Christine Olujimi was born in Omuo Ekiti, Ekiti state, Her education started in Our Lady of Apostles in Ibadan, Oyo State and then proceeded to Nigerian Institute of Journalism to obtain a Diploma in 1976. Biodun Olujimi also bagged degrees in Political science and a Postgraduate degree in Public Relations and Marketing from the University of Abuja. Career Biodun's started her career as broadcaster and journalist. Nigerian Senate
The Senate is the upper chamber of Nigeria's bicameral legislature, the National Assembly of Nigeria. The National Assembly (popularly referred to as NASS) is the nation's highest legislature, whose power is to make laws, is summarized in chapter one, section four of the 1999 Nigerian Constitution. 2019 Nigerian General Election
General elections were held in Nigeria on 23 February 2019 to elect the President, Vice President, House of Representatives and the Senate. The elections had initially been scheduled for 16 February, but the Electoral Commission postponed the vote by a week at 03:00 on the original polling day, citing logistical challenges in getting electoral materials to polling stations on time. In some places, the vote was delayed until 24 February due to electoral violence. Polling in some areas was subsequently delayed until 9 March, when voting was carried out alongside gubernatorial and state assembly elections. Ayo Fayose
Peter Ayodele Fayose (born 15 November 1960) is a Nigerian politician and the former Governor of Ekiti State. Early life Fayose grew up in Oyo State where he attended Olivet Baptist High School, Oyo. In 1985, He was admitted to a Higher National Diploma (HND) programme in Biological Sciences/Applied Medical/Biology by The Polytechnic, Ibadan and graduated in 1987. The All Progressives Congress (APC) is one of the two major contemporary political parties in Nigeria, along with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). The ''Nigerian Tribune'' is an English-language newspaper published in Ibadan, Nigeria. It was established in 1949 by Obafemi Awolowo and is the oldest running private Nigerian newspaper.
