Abierto Tampico
The Abierto Tampico is a tournament for professional female tennis players played on outdoor hard courts. The event is classified as a WTA 125 WTA 125 tournaments are an international series of professional women's tennis tournaments organized by the Women's Tennis Association since 2012. In the past (2012–2015) sometimes called the WTA Challenger seriesITF Women's Circuit tournament. The tournament was established in Tampico, Mexico, in 2013.

Tampico
Tampico is a city and port in the southeastern part of the state of Tamaulipas, Mexico. It is located on the north bank of the Pánuco River, about inland from the Gulf of Mexico, and directly north of the state of Veracruz. Tampico is the fifth-largest city in Tamaulipas, with a population of 314,418 in the city proper and 929,174 in the metropolitan area. Sofya Zhuk
Sofya Andreyevna Zhuk ( rus, Софья Андреевна Жук, , ˈsofʲjə ɐnˈdrʲe(j)ɪvnə ˈʐuk; born 1 December 1999) is a former Russian tennis player. She won the 2015 Wimbledon girls' singles title. Elizabeth Hana Mandlik (born 19 May 2001) is an American tennis player. She is the daughter of Grand Slam tennis champion Hana Mandlíková. Indy de Vroome (born 21 May 1996) is a Dutch tennis player. De Vroome has won seven singles and six doubles titles on the ITF Women's Circuit. An-Sophie Mestach (born 7 March 1994) is a Belgian retired tennis player. In her career, Mestach won two doubles titles on the WTA Tour, as well as six singles titles and eight doubles titles on the ITF Circuit.
