Abdullah Omar Nasseef
Abdullah Omar Nasseef ( ar, عبدالله عمر نصيف) (born 5 July 1939 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia) is a Saudi chemist and geologist, and serves as Chief Scout of the Saudi Arabian Boy Scouts Association, which he joined in 1956. Nasseef has a Ph.D degree from Leeds University in the United Kingdom. He is a professor at King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah. He is chairman of the World Muslim Congress, chairman of the founding board of Sahm Al-Nour Trust, and former Secretary General of Muslim World League in 1983-1993. He has served as Vice-President of the Consultative Assembly of Saudi Arabia, President of King Abdul Aziz University, and Secretary-General of the International Islamic Council for Da'wah and Relief (IICDR). King Abdul Aziz University
King Abdulaziz University (KAU) ( ar, جامعة الملك عبد العزيز) is a public university in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. With over 117,096 students in 2022, it is the largest university in the country. Located in south Jeddah, the university is the center of teaching and research of the city, comprising 24 faculties, 15 of these are located on the campus and 9 are off-campus. Scouting, also known as the Scout Movement, is a worldwide youth movement employing the Scout method, a program of informal education with an emphasis on practical outdoor activities, including camping, woodcraft, aquatics, hiking, backpacking, and sports. Another widely recognized movement characteristic is the Scout uniform, by intent hiding all differences of social standing in a country and encouraging equality, with neckerchief and campaign hat or comparable headwear. Bronze Wolf
The Bronze Wolf Award is bestowed by the World Scout Committee (WSC) to acknowledge "outstanding service by an individual to the World Scout Movement". It is the highest honor that can be given a volunteer Scout leader in the world and it is the only award given by the WSC. Since the award's creation in 1935, fewer than 400 of the several millions of Scouts throughout the world have received the award. History Scouting's founder, Robert Baden-Powell, initially recognized outstanding contributions to Scouting by any Scout with the bestowal of the Silver Wolf, but although he was Chief Scout of the World, the Silver Wolf was associated with British Scouting.
