Abdullah Al-Deayea
Abdullah Al-Deayea ( ar, عبدالله الدعيع, born 1 December 1961) is a retired Saudi Arabian professional football goalkeeper who played for Al-Tai and Al-Hilal. He is the elder brother of the former goalkeeper Mohamed Al-Deayea and the father of Bader Al-Deayea and Sultan Al-Deayea. Mohamed started off as a handball player and came to football at the age of 15 as a striker, following the advice of Abdullah. Saudi Crown Prince Cup
The Saudi Crown Prince's Cup ( ar, كأس ولي العهد) was the Saudi Arabian annual cup competition. It was the oldest domestic football competition in Saudi Arabia, its first edition was held in 1956–57, but was not crowned from 1975 until 1990. The competition consists of teams from the top two tiers of Saudi league football (Professional League and First Division League), as well as the competition runs from August until February. Al-Hilal have won the most titles with 13 wins, also Al-Hilal has contested more finals with 17. Al-Ittihad is the last champion being the winner of 2016–17 season. 1984 AFC Asian Cup
The 1984 AFC Asian Cup was the 8th edition of the men's AFC Asian Cup, a quadrennial international football tournament organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). The finals were hosted by Singapore between 1 December and 16 December 1984. The field of ten teams was split into two groups of five. Saudi Arabia won their first title, beating China in the final 2–0. Qualification 21 teams competed in qualifying for the 1984 AFC Asian Cup with the teams being separated into three groups of five teams and one group of six. The top two of each group would qualify through to the Asian Cup as they would join Singapore and Kuwait who automatically qualified. At the end of the qualifying, the remaining eight teams was filled in which included Saudi Arabia as they made their finals debut. AFC Asian Cup
The AFC Asian Cup is the primary association football competition contested by the senior men's national teams of the members of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), determining the continental champion of Asia. It is the second oldest continental football championship in the world after Copa América. The winning team becomes the champion of Asia and until 2015 qualified for the FIFA Confederations Cup. The Asian Cup was held once every four years from the 1956 edition in Hong Kong until the 2004 tournament in China. However, since the Summer Olympic Games and the European Football Championship were also scheduled in the same year as the Asian Cup, the AFC decided to move their championship to a less crowded cycle. The Arab Club Champions Cup ( ar, كأس العرب للأندية الأبطال, french: Ligue des Champions Arabe) is an annual regional club football competition organised by the Union of Arab Football Associations (UAFA) and contested by elite clubs from the Arab world. The tournament is contested by a total of 38 teams – 19 from the Asian Football Confederation and 19 from the Confederation of African Football. Founded in 1981, the tournament was held alongside the Arab Cup Winners' Cup and the Arab Super Cup throughout the 1990s and early 2000s, until the Cup Winners' Cup and Super Cup were merged with the Champions Cup in 2002.
