Abdul Malik ( bn, আবদুল মালিক) is a Bangladeshi cardiologist and National Professor of Bangladesh. He is the first cardiac surgeon of united Pakistan. In 2004, he was awarded Independence Day Award (Shadhinata Padak), the highest state award by the Government of Bangladesh for contribution in medical science. Lt. General Ziaur Rahman (19 January 1936 – 30 May 1981), was a Bangladeshi military officer and politician who served as the President of Bangladesh from 1977 to 1981.
