Abdul Majed
Abdul Majed (died 12 April 2020) was a Bangladeshi military officer who was convicted for his role in the assassination of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the founding president of Bangladesh. Career Majed was a captain in the Bangladesh Army. He was appointed to the Bangladeshi Embassy in Senegal. He retired from the Bangladesh Army in 1980 and joined the civil administration as a Deputy Secretary. He worked at the Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation. He was promoted to the rank of Secretary. He joined the Ministry of Youth and Sports as the director of youth development. He was appointed the Director of National Savings Directorate. He disappeared in 1997 after Sheikh Hasina, daughter of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, was elected Prime Minister of Bangladesh. Borhanuddin Upazila
Borhanuddin ( bn, বোরহানউদ্দিন) is an upazila (or sub-district) of Bhola District in the Division of Barisal, Bangladesh. History In the eighteenth century, Agha Baqer Khan held numerous jagirs across South Bengal including the area now known as Borhanuddin. During his time, he gifted two rent-free islands in the east and west of present-day Borhanuddin to an Arab family which had arrived in the region. Bazlul Huda
Mohammad Bazlul Huda (died 28 January 2010) was a Bangladeshi Army officer who was convicted of the assassination of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, president of Bangladesh. On 28 January 2010, Bazlul was hanged along with Syed Faruque Rahman, Sultan Shahriar Rashid Khan, Mohiuddin Ahmed, and A.K.M. Mohiuddin Ahmed in Old Dhaka Central Jail. Career In 1973, Captain Huda was posted to 1st Field Artillery Regiment in Comilla Cantonment along with Major Shariful Haque Dalim. Dalim had gotten into a scuffle with the sons of Awami League leader Gazi Golam Mostafa. Later some officers and soldiers attacked the residence of Mostofa. AKM Mohiuddin Ahmed
A.K.M. Mohiuddin Ahmed (died 28 January 2010) was a Bangladesh Army officer who was convicted in absentia and executed for the assassination of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. On 28 January 2010, Rahman was hanged along with Syed Faruque Rahman, Sultan Shahriar Rashid Khan, Mohiuddin Ahmed, and Mohammad Bazlul Huda in Old Dhaka Central Jail. Tajuddin Ahmad ( bn, তাজউদ্দীন আহমদ; ; 23 July 1925 – 3 November 1975) was a Bangladeshi politician and statesman. He led the Provisional Government of Bangladesh as its prime minister during the Bangladesh Liberation War in 1971 and is regarded as one of the most instrumental figures in the birth of Bangladesh. Tajuddin began as a Muslim League youth worker in British India. Muhammad Mansur Ali (16 January 1917 – 3 November 1975) was a Bangladeshi politician who was a close confidant of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the founding leader of Bangladesh. Abul Hasnat Muhammad Qamaruzzaman (1926 – 3 November 1975) was a Bangladeshi politician, government minister and a leading member of the Awami League.
