Anna Maria Bottini (24 March 1916 – 9 August 2020) was an Italian actress. Biography Bottini attended the Accademia dei Filodrammatici in Milan, where she graduated in 1936, beginning her acting career at the end of World War II. A character actress, with biting and tasty jokes and with an aggressive attitude, Bottini worked in dozens of films, also collaborating with directors such as Luchino Visconti, for whom she starred in ''The Leopard''. Sergio Tòfano (20 August 1886 – 28 October 1973) was an Italian actor, director, playwright, scene designer and illustrator. Tofano was born in Rome. In 1909, he made his first appearance on stage with Ermete Novelli, then joined Virgilio Talli's company (1913–23). He soon specialized as a comic actor, giving his role a new elegance and complexity. He worked with other famous actors and directors: Dario Niccodemi (1924–27); Luigi Almirante and Giuditta Rissone (1927–30), Elsa Merlini, Vittorio De Sica, Evi Maltagliati, Gino Cervi etc. During those years, he made his famous performances as Doctor Knock in Jules Romains' play, and as Professor Toti in Luigi Pirandello's ''Pensaci, Giacomino!''. Margherita Bagni (pseudonym of Margherita Maria Bagna; 21 February 1902 – 2 July 1960) was an Italian actress and voice actress. She appeared in 37 films between 1918 and 1959. She was born in Turin, Italy and died in Rome, Italy. Daughter of actress Ines Cristina and prompter Ambrogio Bagni (pseudonym of Ambrogio Bagna), Bagni entered at very young age the stage company of her stepfather Ermete Zacconi.
