''Abalai Anjugam'' () is a 1959 Indian Tamil-language film produced and directed by R. M. Krishnaswamy. The film, based on the short story of the same name by Ki. Ra. Gopalan, stars T. R. Sankaramanchi Janaki (born T. Janaki; 12 December 1931), popularly known as Sowcar Janaki (Tamil) or Shavukaru Janaki (Telugu) or Sahukar Janaki (Kannada), is an Indian actress who has appeared in over 300, films, predominantly in Tamil language, Tamil, Telugu language, Telugu, and Kannada languages.
