Aasulv Olsen Bryggesaa (25 April 1856 – 3 April 1922) was a Norwegian politician for the Liberal Party. He was elected to the Norwegian Parliament from the constituency Lister og Mandal amt in 1900, and was re-elected on four consecutive occasions. When the second cabinet Knudsen assumed office on 31 January 1913, Bryggesaa was appointed Minister of Education and Church Affairs. Holt, Aust-Agder
Holt is a former municipality in the old Aust-Agder county in Norway. The municipality existed from 1838 until its dissolution in 1960 when it was merged into the present-day municipality of Tvedestrand which is now in Agder county. The administrative centre of Holt was located just south of the village of Fiane where Holt Church is located. Holt Church probably dates from the twelfth century and has an ancient baptismal font. The interior was decorated by Torsten Hoff. The Nordkalottruta trail runs through the Holt area in Tvedestrand. History The parish of Holt was established as a civil municipality on 1 January 1838 (see formannskapsdistrikt law). According to the 1835 census, the municipality had a population of 3,116. Eiken, Vest-Agder
Eiken is a village in Hægebostad municipality in Agder county, Norway. The village is located on the northern shore of the lake Lygne, about north of the municipal centre of Tingvatn. The village sits near the northern end of the Lyngdalen valley, about southeast of the village of Haddeland. There is some industry and agriculture as well as a good amount of tourism.
