Aaron Henneman
Aaron Henneman (born 13 December 1980) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with Essendon in the Australian Football League (AFL). Henneman joined YVMDFL club Silvan in 2007 after being delisted by Essendon the year before. Joining ex Essendon teammates at Silvan including Gary Moorcroft, Ben Haynes and Marc Bullen. Henneman played a starring role at CHB in the Cats premiership the same year. Has been playing a starring forward role in recent times for the Oakleigh football club despite a tough time with recent shoulder injuries. Recruitment Henneman won the 1997 Ovens & Murray Football League Under 18 best and fairest award, the Leo Dean Medal, before joining the Murray Bushrangers. His career with the Essendon Football Club began when he was drafted from Corowa-Rutherglen, (the same team as Adam, Josh, Damian and Ryan Houlihan) in the 1998 AFL Draft at pick 25. The Corowa-Rutherglen Football Netball Club, nicknamed the ''Kangaroos'', is an Australian rules football and netball club based in the town of Corowa in New South Wales. Corowa-Rutherglen's football and netball squads formerly played in the Ovens & Murray Football League. Ruckman (Australian Rules Football Position)
In Australian rules football, a ruckman or ruckwoman is typically a tall and athletic player who contests at centre bounces and stoppages (such as boundary throw-ins and ball-ups). The ruckman is one of the most important players on the field. They are often key to coaching strategy and winning centre clearances which result in the most goal kicking opportunities (inside 50s). The role of the ruckman in Australian rules is similar to a lock in rugby union contesting a line-out. The key differences are that with the exception of boundary throw-ins, the ball is almost always thrown straight up high into the air rather than horizontally, so in this respect, the ruckman is similar to a basketball centre. The AFL Tribunal is the disciplinary tribunal of the Australian Football League (AFL), an Australian rules football competition. The Tribunal regulates the conduct of players, umpires, and other officials associated with the AFL and its clubs. The Murray Bushrangers is an Australian rules football team playing in Victorian statewide under-18s competition, presently known as the NAB League, since 1993 based in Wangaratta. Ryan Houlihan
Ryan Houlihan (born 21 January 1982) is a former Australian rules footballer who played 12 seasons and 201 games for the Carlton Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL) from 2000 to 2011. Background Ryan is the third of four brothers who were all drafted to AFL clubs: Damian Houlihan, Adam Houlihan and Josh Houlihan, from Wahgunyah on the Murray River, in northern Victoria.
