Aaron Hamilton (American Football)
Aaron Hamilton (born 1978/79) is an Australian cricket coach, who was most recently the head coach of Ireland women's cricket team. Career Hamilton is a Level Three Cricket Australia coach, and he spent seven years as a coach with the Western Australian Cricket Association, including being the assistant and bowling coach of Western Fury. In 2010, Hamilton was invited to speak at a Cricket Indonesia conference. In February 2015, Hamilton was appointed head coach of the Ireland women's cricket team, taking over from former Ireland men's international Trent Johnston. Ireland Women's Cricket Team
The Ireland women's cricket team represents Ireland in international women's cricket. Cricket in Ireland is governed by Cricket Ireland and organised on an All-Ireland basis, meaning the Irish women's team represents both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Ireland made its One-Day International (ODI) debut in 1987, against Australia, and the following year played at the 1988 World Cup, making the first of five appearances at the tournament. Throughout the 1990s and early 2000s Ireland was considered to be a top-level team, playing regular ODI series and placing as high as fifth at the World Cup ( in 1993, out of eight teams). In 2000, the team played its only Test match, defeating Pakistan. Although it still retains ODI status, Ireland has not qualified for a World Cup since the 2005 event. The Western Australia Women cricket team, previously known as Western Fury, is the women's representative cricket team for the Australian State of Western Australia. The 2016 ICC Women's World Twenty20 was the fifth edition of the ICC Women's World Twenty20, the world championship of women's Twenty20 International cricket. India hosted the event for the first time, with matches played from 15 March to 3 April 2016. Middlesex County Cricket Club is one of eighteen first-class county clubs within the domestic cricket structure of England and Wales. The 2015 ICC Women's World Twenty20 Qualifier was an international women's cricket tournament held in Thailand from 28 November to 5 December 2015. It was the second edition of the Women's World Twenty20 Qualifier. Eight teams contested the tournament, with the hosts, Thailand, being joined by the bottom two teams from the 2014 World Twenty20 and five regional qualifiers. Ireland defeated Bangladesh in the final by two wickets, with both teams qualifying for the 2016 World Twenty20 tournament in India.
