Aarik Wilson (born October 25, 1982, in Reno, Nevada) is an American long jumper and triple jumper. He attended Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. US Olympic Trials Triple Jump Champion 2008, US National Indoor Triple Jump Champion 2008, US National Outdoor Triple Jump Champion 2007, US National Indoor Triple Jump Champion 2007(17.28 m), 3rd National Indoor Championships in Long Jump 2007(8.00 m). The long jump is a track and field event in which athletes combine speed, strength and agility in an attempt to leap as far as possible from a takeoff point. Along with the triple jump, the two events that measure jumping for distance as a group are referred to as the "horizontal jumps".
