Aanai
''Aanai'' ( Order) is a 2005 Indian Tamil language action drama film written and directed by Selva. It stars Arjun, Namitha and Keerthi Chawla in the lead, while Vadivelu, Sanghavi and Manoj K. Jayan play pivotal roles. D. Imman composed the soundtrack, while Shiva was the cinematographer for the venture which released in December 2005. The film is a remake of the 2004 film '' Man on Fire'' whose Hindi remake, ''Ek Ajnabee'', starring Amitabh Bachchan in the lead, was released a week later. Synopsis Selva has set the story in Chennai city as some terrorist leader in London wants to kidnap children of the rich and powerful. Plot Vijay ( Arjun) is an ex-cop who was framed up after he cleaned the city of the scum of the earth including nine encounter killings of dreaded gangsters. Selva (floruit, fl. 1990s) is an Indian director active in Tamil film. He often specializes in film remakes and directed a series of hits the 1990s. His first film ''Thalaivasal (film), Thalaivasal'' launched the career of many. Namitha
Namitha Vankawala is an Indian actress, model and politician who predominantly works in Tamil and Telugu cinema along with a few films in Kannada and Malayalam. She serves as a state executive member of the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) in Tamil Nadu. Tirumala Sundara Sri Ranganath (17 July 1949 – 19 December 2015) was an Indian actor known for his works primarily in Telugu cinema, Telugu Theater, television, and a few Tamil films. Vasu, popularly known as Halwa Vasu, (died 17 August 2017) was a comedian in the Tamil film industry in India. He worked in around 900 films. Career Vasu who hailed from Madurai district, came to Chennai to work in cinemas after his graduation. Vasu worked as an assistant to director-actor Manivannan, he carved a niche for himself in comedy films and has also acted alongside the likes of Vadivelu.
