Aamer Sajjad
Aamer Sajjad (born 5 February 1981) is a Pakistani former first-class cricketer. A right-handed batsman and right-arm off-spin bowler, he played first-class cricket from 2002 to 2018. In 2009–10 he scored more runs than anybody else in the Pakistan season, finishing with 1435 runs at an average of 68.33. Opening the batting for Water and Power Development Authority against Sui Southern Gas Company, he made 289, adding 580 for the second wicket with Rafatullah Mohmand. It is the highest second-wicket partnership, and the second-highest partnership of all, in first-class cricket history. He was selected for the Pakistan A tours of Sri Lanka in August and September 2010, and the West Indies in November. When the regular captain, Rana Naved-ul-Hasan, was absent, he often captained the Water and Power Development Authority team. Pakistan A Cricket Team
The Pakistan A cricket team, or Pakistan Shaheens, is a national cricket team representing Pakistan. It is the second-tier of international Pakistan cricket, below the full Pakistan national cricket team. Matches played by Pakistan A are not considered to be Test matches or One Day Internationals, receiving first-class and List A classification respectively. Pakistan A played their first match in August 1964, a three-day first-class contest against Ceylon Board President's XI. Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the centre of which is a pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps. The batting side scores runs by striking the ball bowled at one of the wickets with the bat and then running between the wickets, while the bowling and fielding side tries to prevent this (by preventing the ball from leaving the field, and getting the ball to either wicket) and dismiss each batter (so they are "out"). Means of dismissal include being bowled, when the ball hits the stumps and dislodges the bails, and by the fielding side either catching the ball after it is hit by the bat, but before it hits the ground, or hitting a wicket with the ball before a batter can cross the crease in front of the wicket. Pakistan Cricket Board
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is a sports governing body for cricket in Pakistan responsible for controlling and organising all tours and matches undertaken by the Pakistan national cricket team. A member of the International Cricket Council since 1952, it represents the country's men's and women's national teams in international cricket tournaments played under the ICC. Following the establishment of Pakistan as an independent dominion of the British Empire in 1947, professional and amateur cricket commenced in the same year, seeing as local infrastructure had already been established when the country was part of the British Raj. Cricket matches were arranged informally until 1948, when a Board of Control was formally instituted. Rana Naved-ul-Hasan
Rana Naved-ul-Hasan (Punjabi, ur, ), (born 28 February 1978) is a Pakistani cricket coach and former cricketer who played all formats of the game. A right-arm fast-medium bowler capable of generating good pace with late swing, he is a genuine strike bowler. Although he was prone to leaking runs in his earlier career, of late he has used vast county experience to be economical in death overs. He often bowls the reverse-swinging yorker in one day and T20 cricket and has good control over changes of pace, though he sometimes can be expensive.
