Aafke Soet
Aafke Soet (born 23 November 1997) is a Dutch former professional racing cyclist, who last rode for UCI Women's Continental Team in 2021 and 2022. Before cycling, she was a speed skater who had represented the Netherlands at the 2012 Winter Youth Olympics. In 2018, she won stage 5 of the Healthy Ageing Tour. She retired from professional cycle racing at the end of 2022. Heerenveen
Heerenveen (, fry, It Hearrenfean ) is a town and municipality in the province of Friesland (Fryslân), in the Northern Netherlands. In 2021, the town had a population of 29,790 (1 January) while the municipality had a population 50,859 (1 July). History The town was established in 1551 by three lords as a location for the purpose of digging peat which was used for fuel, hence the name (''heer'' is "lord", ''veen'' is "peat"). Heerenveen was not one of the traditional eleven cities in Friesland (Fryslân) as it did not have so-called city rights. However, it is now one of the larger municipalities of the province. The windmill ''Welgelegen'' or ''Tjepkema's Molen'' is the only survivor of seventeen which have stood in Heerenveen. Omloop van Borsele ("Circuit of Borsele") is an elite List of women's road bicycle races, women's professional road bicycle race held annually since 2002 in Borsele, Netherlands. The 2018 Healthy Ageing Tour was a women's cycle stage race that was held in the Netherlands from 4 to 8 April 2018. The 2018 edition of the race was the eighth running of the Healthy Ageing Tour, being held with a UCI rating of 2.1. The race was marked by the performance of the entire team; aside from winning the team time trial stage, their riders Anna van der Breggen, Amy Pieters and Chantal Blaak won three others. In the overall classification, Pieters won by 22 seconds ahead of Blaak, while Christine Majerus completed the podium – just ahead of van der Breggen, in a 1–2–3–4 – a further 20 seconds in arrears.
