Aadavantha Deivam
''Aada Vandha Deivam'' () is a 1960 Indian Tamil-language romantic dance film directed by P. Neelakantan and written by Era. Shanmugam. The film was an adaptation of the Tamil novel ''Ghaleer Ghaleer'', written by LRV. It stars T. R. Mahalingam, M. R. Radha, Anjali Devi and E. V. Saroja. The film was released on 1 April 1960 and emerged a commercial success. Plot "Mittadar" Anandan is a wealthy landowner and fan of fine arts including music, dancing, painting and sculpting. While on a nature study in the hills, he is injured in an accident caused by an explosion. He seeks refuge in a hut owned by Bhairavi, a street-smart dancer who lives alone to assert her independence. Unaware of his identity, she tends to his injuries and they both fall in love. After he recovers, Anandan returns home where he meets his dancer cousin Kalyani, who becomes attached to him. Anjali Devi
Anjali Devi (; 24 August 1927 – 13 January 2014) was an Indian actress, model and producer in Telugu and Tamil films. She was well known for her role as the Devi Sita in ''Lava Kusa'' as well as for the titular roles in movies like Chenchu Lakshmi, '' Suvarna Sundari'' and '' Anarkali''. Early life Anjali Devi was born in Peddapuram, East Godavari district in Andhra Pradesh, India, as Anjamma. She changed her name to Anjani Kumari when acting in dramas. Later, director C. Pullaiah changed her name to Anjali Devi. Career As actress She was a theatre artiste before venturing into movies, her debut film role was as Lohitasva in "''Raja Harishchandra"'' in 1936. ''Kalki'' is a Tamil language, Tamil-language Weekly (news magazine), weekly magazine published from Chennai, India. The magazine was established by Kalki Krishnamurthy, a popular Tamil language, Tamil novelist and Indian freedom fighter, in 1941. Kalki Sadasivam, T Sadasivam was the magazine's co-founder. The magazine is known for its publication of historic novels such as ''Ponniyin Selvan'' and ''Sivagamiyin Sabadham''. Singer Semmangudi Srinivasa Iyer, guru of M S Subbulakshmi, and music critic S V Seshadri were also involved with the magazine in its coverage of music.
