Aadaraneeya Wassaanaya
''Adaraneeya Wassanaya'' () is a 2004 Sri Lankan romantic musical film directed by Senesh Dissanayake Bandara. It is produced along with Bandula Weerackody co-produced for Telestar Private Limited and produced by Vinod Arosha, Nalin Aponsu, Nihal Seneviratne Epa, Lalith Mirihagalle and Nimal Ekanayake for Tomorrow Films Today Private Limited. It stars Roshan Ravindra and Chathurika Pieris in lead roles along with Sachini Ayendra Stanley and Malini Fonseka. Music composed by Nawaratne Gamage. Production The film is Bandara's directorial debut. It tells the story of a middle-class boy from the highlands who falls in love with an upper-class girl in Colombo. Senesh Dissanaike Bandara Ph.D, MA, BA (Hons.) සෙනේෂ් දිසානායක බණ්ඩාර is a film director and a television drama director in Sri Lanka. Sachini Ayendra Stanley ( si, සචිනි අයේන්ද්රා ස්ටැන්ලි), is a Sri Lankan film actress currently working in the Sinhala film industry. She won Miss Sri Lanka in 2003 and represented Sri Lanka at the 53rd Miss World Pageant in Sanya, China. After being crowned as Miss Sri Lanka, her first film, Aadaraneeya Wassaanaya, directed by Senesh Dissanaike Bandara, was released in 2004.
