A Spasso Nel Tempo
''A spasso nel tempo'' () is a 1996 Italian science fiction adventure comedy film directed by Carlo Vanzina. The film is included in the Italian sub-genre of '' cinepanettoni''. Plot Two Italian families meet in Universal Pictures' amusement park. Ascanio Colonna (Ascanio Orsini Varaldo in the original version) is a Roman prince, who immediately goes into battle with the Milanese Walter Colombo (Walter Boso in the original version), manager of a cinema. When the two families have to take the joust of Professor Mortimer's "Machine of Time", the machine jams right when Ascanio and Walter get on board. Carlo Vanzina
Carlo Vanzina (13 March 1951 – 8 July 2018) was an Italian film director, producer and screenwriter. Vanzina was born in Rome, the son of Maria Teresa Nati and film director Stefano Vanzina and brother of Enrico Vanzina. In English-speaking countries, he is likely best known for his 1985 giallo '' Nothing Underneath'', starring Donald Pleasence and Renee Simonsen, which received a substantial home video release and aired on cable frequently. He would effectively remake his own film in 2011 as ''The Last Fashion Show'' with Richard E. Grant. Many of his projects were made for Italian television with English-speaking actors, and in turn these films received English-language home video releases in America.
