''A Storm of Love'' ( ar, عاصفة من الحب , transliterated ''A'sefa min al-hubb'') is an Egyptian film released in 1961. The film is directed and written by Hussein el-Mohandess and stars Salah Zulfikar and Nahed Sherif. Synopsis A rivalry develops between the Ubaida and Rizeiga tribes: an Ubaida mother asks her son Hamed to burn Rizeiga crops once the killer of a Rizeiga is released from prison. Hamed is considered one of the most eligible bachelors in the village, and while his mother wants him to pick a glamorous village woman, he is struck by a dancing gypsy girl named Khaleda and determined to seduce her. Opposed by her patron Sharif and his family, Hamed elopes with Khaleda to the coastal region of El Manzala, where they eke out a modest living on his fishing wages and their whereabouts are known to none back home except the trusted Sheikh Mabrouk. Adly Kasseb عدلى كاسب (full name: Adly Abdel Hamid Kasseb) (April 21, 1918 – September 13, 1978) was an Egyptian actor who acted in many movies and plays. His talent was recognized since he was a child and has grown over the years. He graduated from the faculty of Applied Arts then worked as a teacher in the faculty of Engineering for 12 years. Widad Hamdi ( ar, وداد حمدى) was an Egyptian actress. She starred in over 600 films during her lifetime, and almost all her roles were as a servant or maid. Early life and career Hamdi was born on March 7, 1924, in Kafr El-Sheikh, Egypt. She studied at the Institute of Representation and graduated after two years. Hamdi started her career as a singer. Her first film was Henry Barakat's ''This Was My Father's Crime'' (1945). She worked with the Egyptian National Troupe on several plays. Hamdi retired in the sixties but was called out of retirement to work on the play ''Tamr Henna''. Hamdi was married 3 times, to composer Muhammad al-Mougy and actors Salaah Kabeel and Muhammad al-Toukhy. Death Hamdi was killed in 1994. She was stabbed 35 times in the neck, chest, and abdomen.
