''A Somewhat Gentle Man'' ( no, En ganske snill mann and also known as ''Regnskap'') is a 2010 Norwegian crime comedy film directed by Hans Petter Moland. It premiered on 19 March 2010, and was the sixth feature-film directed by Hans Petter Moland. It was nominated for the Golden Bear at the 60th Berlin International Film Festival. Morland said that the film "''A Somewhat Gentle Man'' is about grown-ups struggling to keep up with the times. Hans Petter Moland
Hans Petter Moland (born 17 October 1955) is a Norwegian film director. Moland was born in Oslo. He had received awards for his commercials at major festivals, including Cannes, before he made his feature debut in 1993 with '' The Last Lieutenant''. He followed up with '' Zero Kelvin'' (1995), ''Aberdeen'' (2000) and '' The Beautiful Country'' (2004), which was selected for Competition in Berlin. He also directed the short film ''United We Stand'', which has been awarded prizes at several major film festivals. He is also well known for his collaboration and deep friendship with Swedish actor Stellan Skarsgård, having directed him in three movies; ''Zero Kelvin'', ''Aberdeen'' and '' En ganske snill mann'' (2010), the latter being nominated for the Golden Bear at the 60th Berlin International Film Festival. Kjersti Holmen
Kjersti Holmen (8 February 1956 – 26 September 2021) was a Norwegian actress. She was born on Nøtterøy, and later moved to Alnabru, where she grew up with her parents and two sisters. She graduated from the Norwegian National Academy of Theatre in 1980, and was employed at the National Theatre since 1981 – permanently since 1992. Jannike Kruse Jåtog (born 16 June 1975) is a Norwegian singer, artist and actor. Henrik Mestad (born 22 June 1964) is a Norwegian stage, film, and television actor. He received the Hedda Award in 2011. Mestad was born in Oslo as a son of the politician Viking Mestad. Aksel Hennie
Aksel Hennie (born 29 October 1975) is a Norwegian actor, director, and screenwriter. He is best known for his roles in the films '' Headhunters'' (2011), ''Hercules'' (2014), and '' The Martian'' (2015). Early life Hennie was born in the Lambertseter suburb of Oslo on 29 October 1975.
