A Person Of Interest (album)
''A Person of Interest'' is the third studio album by American hip hop artist DJ Paul, released on October 22, 2012. Paul states that the album, which is a mix of gangsta rap and crunk, is aimed at the core Three 6 Mafia fans. Unlike his previous albums, A Person of Interest also incorporates influences from dubstep and electronic dance music. Featured artists are long-time collaborators Lil Wyte, Project Pat and Gucci Mane as well as upcoming artist Locodunit. The album peaked at number 34 on the US ''Billboard'' Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and No. 11 on the ''Billboard'' Heatseekers Albums. Background In April 2012, Paul released a mixtape called 'For I Have Sinned' hosted by DJ Scream and DJ Black. The mixtape has been downloaded over 14,000 times at DatPiff. In October DJ Paul released a free album sampler for 'A Person of Interest' which includes 8 of the album's 26 tracks. DJ Paul
Paul Duane Beauregard (born January 12, 1977), better known by his stage name DJ Paul, is an American DJ, record producer, and rapper from Memphis, Tennessee. He is a founding member of hip hop group Three 6 Mafia and uncle of the late rapper Lord Infamous. He is also a part owner of FaZe Clan. DJ Paul started his career in the late 1980s as a DJ and released a number of solo tapes, as well as three collaboration albums with Lord Infamous as The Serial Killaz. Juicy J was introduced and the three founded the group Three 6 Mafia, going on to achieve national success in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Their 2000 album, '' When the Smoke Clears: Sixty 6, Sixty 1'', debuted at number six on the ''Billboard'' 200 chart and was certified platinum. Later followed by ''Da Unbreakables'' in 2003 and ''Most Known Unknown'' in 2005, both of which were commercially successful. Project Pat
Patrick Earl Houston (born February 8, 1973), better known by his stage name Project Pat, is an American rapper from Memphis, Tennessee. He is the older brother of Juicy J, the co-founder of Three 6 Mafia. Houston was formerly a member of hip hop group the Kaze, joining the group in 1998 the same year that the album ''KamiKaze Timez Up'' was released. Career Music beginnings and ''Ghetty Green'' Project Pat began his career with appearances on his brother Juicy J's early releases with DJ Paul in the early 1990s. After serving several years in prison for robbery charges and disappearing from recording, he re-emerged in 1999 with the solo album ''Ghetty Green'', released on his brother's Hypnotize Minds label. DJ Kay Slay
Keith Grayson (August 14, 1966 – April 17, 2022), professionally known as DJ Kay Slay, was an American disc jockey (DJ) from New York City. He is referred to by ''The New York Times'' as "Hip Hop's One-Man Ministry of Insults". He released four studio albums, ''The Streetsweeper, Vol. 1'', '' The Streetsweeper, Vol. 2'', '' The Champions: North Meets South'' (with Greg Street), and ''More Than Just a DJ''. Early life Grayson was born August 14, 1966, in New York City. He was originally a prominent graffiti artist, having been featured in the 1983 hip hop documentary, ''Style Wars''. One of Grayson's better known tags was "Dez". As a youth involved in New York's flourishing hip hop scene, Keith witnessed firsthand the ascent of legendary disc jockeys such as Grandmaster Flash, Grand Wizzard Theodore, and Kool DJ Red Alert, in the late 1970s and into the 1980s.
