Deshon Terrell Bullock (born May 28, 1975), better known by his stage name Shonlock, is an American Christian hip hop artist from Atlanta, Georgia by way of Chicago, Illinois. He first made a debut in 2001 and is part of the TobyMac road band The Diverse City Band. He signed with Arrow-Records/Universal and released ''Where Never Begins'' on November 9, 2010. The single "Something in Your Eyes" reached No. 1 on the ''Billboard'' Radio Chart for seven weeks straight. Christian hip hop (originally gospel rap, also known as Christian rap, gospel hip hop or holy hip hop) is a subgenre of contemporary Christian music and hip hop music. It emerged from urban contemporary music and Christian media in the United States during the 1980s. Christian electronic dance music, also known as CEDM, Christian EDM, Christian Dance Music, CDM, or Christian electronic music is a genre of electronic dance music and Christian music. Its musical styles closely mirror non-Christian EDM; however, the CEDM culture's lack of drug use and emphasis of positive lyrics (often focused on Christianity-based principles) distinguish it from non-religious counterparts. Contemporary R&B (or simply R&B) is a popular music genre that combines rhythm and blues with elements of pop, soul, funk, hip hop, and electronic music. The genre features a distinctive record production style, drum machine-backed rhythms, pitch corrected vocals, and a smooth, lush style of vocal arrangement. FF5 (formerly known as Family Force 5, The Phamily, Ground Noise and The Brothers) is an American Christian rock band from Atlanta, Georgia.
