A New Kind Of Family
''A New Kind of Family'' is an American sitcom that aired on ABC from September 1979 to January 1980. The series stars Eileen Brennan, Rob Lowe and Telma Hopkins. It is not to be confused with, nor is it related to, the series ''Family'', which aired concurrently on ABC. Synopsis Eileen Brennan stars as Kit Flanagan, a widowed mother of three who shares a home with a divorced woman, Abby Stone ( Gwynne Gilford), and her daughter Jill in an effort to save money. Halfway during the series' first season, it was pulled from the schedule and re-tooled in an effort to boost ratings. The characters of Abby and Jill Stone were written out and new characters, Jess and Jojo Ashton (played by Telma Hopkins and Janet Jackson respectively), were added to the series. Despite the cast change, the show was cancelled in January 1980. Anaal Nathrakh
Anaal Nathrakh are a British extreme metal band formed in 1999 in Birmingham by multi-instrumentalist Mick Kenney and vocalist Dave Hunt. They are currently signed to Metal Blade Records. The band's name is Irish for ''snake's breath'' ( anál nathrach) and was taken from Merlin's Charm of Making in John Boorman's 1981 film ''Excalibur''. The band recorded two demos in 1999, which were later released as an album. The band has released eleven studio albums, one EP, and one compilation album. The band has been praised for mixing elements of grindcore, black metal, death metal, industrial, and other genres. Gloria Gwynne Gilford is an American psychotherapist and former actress. She appeared in several television series in the 1970s and 1980s, including ''A New Kind of Family'', ''The Young Lawyers'' and '' The Waverly Wonders'', and had roles in the films ''Beware! The Blob'' (1972), '' Satan's School for Girls'' (1973), ''Ruby and Oswald'' (1978), '' Fade to Black'' (1980), '' Kate's Secret'' (1986) and ''Masters of the Universe'' (1987). Gilford is the daughter of actress Anne Gwynne (born Marguerite Gwynne Trice) and entertainment lawyer Max M. Gilford. According to Gilford, her mother wouldn't allow her to act in film as a child. Marco Zappia (November 29, 1937 – December 22, 2013) was an American television editor. His credits over a career of more than 40 years included ''All in the Family'' (95 episodes), ''Archie Bunker's Place'' (97 episodes), '' Who's the Boss?''
