Eriprando Visconti
Eriprando Visconti di Modrone, Count of Vico Modrone (September 24, 1932 – May 26, 1995) was an Italian film director, screenwriter, and producer. He was the nephew of the more famous Luchino Visconti. Born in Milan into a noble family, in the early 1950s Visconti moved to Rome, against the wishes of his family, to pursue his dream to enter the cinema industry. After a few experiences as an actor and an assistant film editor under Mario Serandrei, in 1955 he wrote the early script and collaborated to the screenplay of Francesco Maselli's '' The Abandoned'' and in the second half of the 1950s he started working as assistant director, notably collaborating with Michelangelo Antonioni and his uncle Luchino Visconti. In 1959 he collaborated with Luigi Malerba to the libretto of the Franco Mannino's opera ''Hatikwa'', and in the same period he started working in theatre as an assistant director. Regina Bianchi
Regina Bianchi (1 January 1921 – 5 April 2013) was an Italian stage and film actress. Life and career Born in Lecce as Regina D'Antigny, she was the daughter of two theater actors. Forced by the fascist phobia of foreign cultures to change her surname, she adopted the surname of her paternal grandmother. At age 16, she entered the stage company of Raffaele Viviani and, that year, debuted in the comedy play ''Campagna napoletana'', in the leading role of Reginella. In 1939, she starred in the drama film ''Il ponte di vetro''; on the film set she became engaged to the director Goffredo Alessandrini, who remained her partner for over 20 years. After having announced her retirement in 1944, she came back in 1959 with the title role in Eduardo De Filippo's ''Filumena Marturano''. Lucilla Morlacchi (29 April 1936 – 13 November 2014) was an Italian film, television and stage actress. Born in Milan in 1936, Morlacchi studied at the Accademia dei Filodrammatici and made her theatrical debut in 1956 in the comedy play ''Il maggiore Barbara'', with the stage company of Ernesto Calindri and Lina Volonghi. On stage she worked with notable directors such as Luchino Visconti and Sergio Castellitto. John Aaron Lewis (May 3, 1920 – March 29, 2001) was an American jazz pianist, composer and arranger, best known as the founder and musical director of the Modern Jazz Quartet. Early life John Lewis was born in La Grange, Illinois, and after his parents' divorce moved with his mother, a trained singer, to Albuquerque, New Mexico when he was two months old.
