''A Love Extreme'' is the first studio album by the American musician Benji Hughes. It was released on July 22, 2008, with Keefus Ciancia, David Susskind and Gus Seyffert producing. The album was recorded at The Green Room Studios in Los Feliz, California and Sargent Studios in Echo Park, California. The album was released on compact disc and on 180-gram vinyl pressing by New West Records. Benji Hughes is an American musical artist from Charlotte, North Carolina. His first album, '' A Love Extreme'', was released in 2008. ''A Love Extreme'' On July 22, 2008, Benji Hughes released his debut album, entitled '' A Love Extreme'' on New West Records. ''A Love Extreme'' is a double-disc album containing 25 songs. It was recorded with producer and Los Angeles session musician Keefus Ciancia. Fred Karlin
Frederick James Karlin (June 16, 1936 – March 26, 2004) was an American composer of more than 130 scores for feature films and television movies. He also was an accomplished trumpeter adept at playing jazz, blues, classical, rock, and medieval music. Early life and education Karlin was born in Chicago, Illinois. He had a brother, Kenneth. Karlin began playing jazz trumpet in 1950. He studied jazz composition with William Russo and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Amherst College, graduating with honors. His ''String Quartet No. 2'' was his honors thesis. Career Following graduation from college, Karlin moved to New York City in 1958. He composed and arranged for various bands, including those of Benny Goodman, Harry James, and Chubby Jackson. Jay Bellerose
Jay Bellerose is an American drummer and percussionist known primarily for his session and live performance work. He has contributed to the work of many well-known artists. Biography Bellerose was born in Maine. A jazz enthusiast, he attended the Berklee College of Music where he worked with Paula Cole, Torsten de Winkel and others, and eventually went Los Angeles where he was part of Joe Henry's band. Bellerose has been influenced by blues and jazz, and his sound is in part derived from his vintage 1940s Slingerland Rolling Bomber kit. He often performs with shakers strapped to his ankles. He often uses a shallow 32-inch bass drum. Bellerose is a member of the Band of Sweethearts, which includes Brad Meinerding (guitar), Eric Heywood (pedal steel guitar) and Bellerose's long-time partner, Jennifer Condos (bass guitar). Jon Joseph Waronker (born May 20, 1969) is an American drummer and music producer. He is best known as a regular drummer of both Beck and R.E.M., and as member of the experimental rock bands Atoms for Peace and Ultraísta. Early life Wilson was born on December 30, 1974 in Forest City, North Carolina and raised in nearby Spindale, North Carolina. Keith Ciancia, better known as Keefus Green or Keefus Ciancia is an American musician, composer and music producer. He has won an Ivor Novello Award and been nominated for an Emmy. Along with his long time creative collaborator, T Bone Burnett, he has co-composed and produced several film and television soundtracks, including the HBO series ''True Detective'' and the Coen brothers' ''The Ladykillers''.
