''A Loose Quarter'' is the fifth mixtape by American rapper Joe Budden, it was released on November 20, 2012. The mixtape features guest appearances from Ab-Soul, Tsu-Surf, Mal, Emanny, Trev Rich, Royce Da 5'9" and Kobe. Critical response ''A Loose Quarter'' was met with generally favorable reviews from music critics. David "Rek" Lee of HipHopDX gave the mixtape a positive review, saying "Joe Budden plays his part on the Slaughterhouse album, but ''A Loose Quarter'' allows him to really flex his artistry. Joe Budden
Joseph Anthony Budden II (born August 31, 1980) is an American media personality and former rapper. He first gained recognition as a rapper with his 2003 top 40 single " Pump It Up" and as a member of the hip hop supergroup Slaughterhouse. In 2018, he retired from rap, and found success as a broadcaster, having a much publicized run as a co-host on ''Everyday Struggle'' for Complex. Ryan Daniel Montgomery, known professionally as Royce da 5'9" (or simply Royce 5'9"), is an American rapper, songwriter, and record producer. Montgomery is currently one half of the rap duo Bad Meets Evil with fellow Detroit rapper Eminem, and is one half of the hip hop duo PRhyme with producer DJ Premier. He was also one quarter of the Shady Records hip hop group Slaughterhouse with Joe Budden, Joell Ortiz and Kxng Crooked. A mixtape (alternatively mix-tape, mix tape or mixed tape) is a compilation of music, typically from multiple sources, recorded onto a medium. With origins in the 1980s, the term normally describes a homemade compilation of music onto a cassette tape, CD, or digital playlist.
