"A Little Bit of Luck" is a song by English UK garage duo DJ Luck & MC Neat. The song contains samples of "Unity", a 1991 breakbeat hardcore track by Timebase featuring Kromozone, interpolated vocals from Yami Bolo's "When a Man in Love", and uses the drums from an earlier garage track, "Hyperfunk" by Antonio. The song reached the top 10 on the UK Singles Chart, peaking at number nine. It was the first of three consecutive top-10 hit singles for the duo. In 2017, DJ Luck & MC Neat featured on the track "Through the Night" by rapper Bugzy Malone from his EP '' King of the North'', using resung vocals from "A Little Bit of Luck". It reached No. 92 in the UK. In September 2019, ''NME'' included the song in their "25 essential UK garage anthems" list. DJ Luck & MC Neat are a British musical duo, composed of Joel Samuels (a.k.a. DJ Luck) and Michael Rose (a.k.a. MC Neat) mainly performing a combination of house music and UK garage. They had three consecutive top 10 hits in the United Kingdom from 1999 to 2000. Career They are primarily known for their 1999 single, " A Little Bit of Luck", which started as a promotional dubplate, released at the price of £5. ''Garage Classics'' is the debut album by the House & Garage Orchestra, released on 30 November 2018 on the New State Music label. It was released on CD and as a digital download. The album was produced by Darren Tate and Alex Mereier (Shy Cookie), and contains orchestral covers of classic UK garage tracks with appearances from Kele Le Roc, Sweet Female Attitude, Shola Ama, Shelley Nelson, MC Neat, Tough Love and more.
