Dudley Perkins (rapper)
Dudley Perkins is an American rapper and singer from Oxnard, California. He has released records on Stones Throw Records under his own name and the alias of Declaime. In 2008, he co-founded the SomeOthaShip Connect record label with his partner Georgia Anne Muldrow. Life and career Having begun rapping in 1987, he was featured on The Alkaholiks' 1995 album ''Coast II Coast'' under the Declaime moniker. In 2001, he released ''Andsoitisaid'', his first album as Declaime. Dudley Perkins released '' A Lil' Light'', an album entirely produced by Madlib, on Stones Throw Records in 2003. Christopher George Manak (born October 8, 1969 ), better known by his stage name Peanut Butter Wolf, is an American disc jockey and record producer from San Jose, California. He is based in Los Angeles, where he moved to in 2000. He is the founder of Stones Throw Records. Career In 1989, Peanut Butter Wolf met rapper Charizma. They became friends and started making music together. They made a name for themselves in San Jose and the Bay Area through their live shows and demo tapes. Charizma was shot dead in 1993. ''Jockey Slut'' was a British music magazine which ran between 1993 and 2004, focusing mainly on dance music and club culture. It started as a self-published bi-monthly fanzine in 1993, and became a monthly by 1999, following a buy-out by Swinstead Publishing. By 2004, it was published quarterly, with more content on its website, a change which only lasted three and a half months before closure in late May that year.
