Abu Jahed Mohammad Nasir Uddin aka A. J. M. Nasir Uddin ( bn, আ জ ম নাসির উদ্দিন; born 1 January 1957) is a Bangladeshi politician and former Mayor of Chittagong. He is also the vice president of Bangladesh Cricket Board. Personal life Uddin was born on 1 January 1957 in Andarkilla, Chittagong. He completed his primary level education at Kadam Mubarak Primary school then completed S.S.C. in 1973 from Government Muslim High School. He completed H.S.C and his graduation at Chittagong College. Career On 24 January 1993, a rally of Awami league led by Sheikh Hasina at Laldighi Maidan, Chittagong was attacked. After which a case was filed by Sufian Siddique, Bangladesh Chattra League leader, against 28 including Uddin. Bangladesh Police submitted the charge sheet in the case on 7 March 1993. The Bangladesh Cricket board ( bn, বাংলাদেশ ক্রিকেট বোর্ড; abbreviated as BCB) is the governing body of cricket in Bangladesh. The Bangladesh Cricket Board first became an associate member of the International Cricket Council in 1977 and on June 26, 2000 became a Full Member. BCB have three International Cricket teams which represent Bangladesh in international cricket, which are Bangladesh Men's national cricket team, Bangladesh women's national cricket team and Bangladesh under-19 cricket team. A. B. M. Mohiuddin Chowdhury (1 December 1944 – 15 December 2017) was a Bangladesh Awami League politician. He was the mayor of Chittagong, the second-largest city in Bangladesh, for three consecutive terms. Early life Chowdhury was born on 1 December 1944 in Gohira village, Raozan upazila, Chittagong District, East Bengal, British Raj. His father was Hosen Ahmed Chowdhury, a railway officer, and his mother was Bedowra Begum. After completing his SSC he joined Chittagong City College in 1962. He transferred the same year to Chittagong Polytechnic Institute. He was expelled from the institute for his involvement in student politics. Rezaul Karim Chowdhury (born 31 May 1953) is a Bangladeshi politician and incumbent mayor of Chittagong City Corporation. He is also the joint general secretary of Chattogram Mahanagar Awami League.
