A Great Life
A Great Life (russian: Большая жизнь, Bolshaya zhizn) is a 1939 Soviet drama film directed by Leonid Lukov. Plot A small mining village in the Donbas lives a working life. Three months ago, a new party organizer, Khadarov, came to the mine. With his arrival life revived both in the village and at the mine. Work is underway to re-equip the mine. The Party organizer supports the initiative of the young engineer Petukhov, who, with the support of experienced miners, is developing a new method of coal mining. But not everyone believes in the success of the new method. More than others, the chairman of the mine committee Usynin expresses his doubts, a man who is afraid of any responsibility and always tries to stay on the sidelines. Boris Fyodorovich Andreyev (russian: Бори́с Фёдорович Андре́ев; – 25 April 1982) was a Soviet and Russian actor. He appeared in 51 films between 1939 and 1982. People's Artist of the USSR (1962). Andreev won Stalin Prizes for Pyryev’s ''Ballad of Siberia'' (1946) and '' The Fall of Berlin'' (1950). Biography Boris Andreyev was born 9 February 1915 in Saratov, Russian Empire to a family of workers. His childhood and youth years were spent in Atkarsk, Saratov Governorate. After completing the seventh grade at school, Andreyev went to work as a mechanic-electrician at a сombine factory, where he started going to a local theatrical circle.
