''A Grateful People'' is the last album released by Christian duo Watermark. It was recorded live on August 25, 2005 in front of a small audience at their hometown church in Brentwood, Tennessee. It was released on March 14, 2006 by Rocketown Records. Watermark (band)
Watermark was a Contemporary Christian singing duo composed of husband and wife Nathan and Christy Nockels. They were under Michael W. Smith's record label, Rocketown Records. History Watermark got their start recording under the name Sons and Daughters, with longtime friends Charlie and Kimber Hall ( Charlie Hall is a known worship leader with the Passion Conferences). They released their first record, ''Holy Roar'', with this lineup in 1995. In 1997, they released ''Open Me Up'' under the same name. That same year, Nathan and Christy began leading worship at Metro Bible Study at Houston's First Baptist Church. This is where Watermark began. Rocketown heard about Watermark around 1998, and soon signed them to the label. That same year, they released their first project as a part of Rocketown, an album called ''Watermark''. Nathan Nockels
Nathaniel Edward "Nathan" Nockels (born June 8, 1973) is an American singer-songwriter and worship leader, who is a producer, songwriter, and composer of sacred music. He has received seven GMA Dove Awards, for his production. Nockels and his wife, Christy, were members of the worship-duo, Watermark. Early and personal life Nockels was born, Nathaniel Edward Nockels, Work ID No. 310489942 ISWC No. T0710570845 on June 8, 1973, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He is a graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University. Nockels first came in contact with Christy Nockels, while they were attending the Christian Artists Seminar in 1993, where it was hosted in Estes Park, Colorado, and they would eventually marry in 1995. The couple now reside in Franklin, Tennessee and Alpharetta, Georgia, with their three children. Top Heatseekers are "Breaking and Entering" music charts issued weekly by ''Billboard'' magazine. The Heatseekers Albums and the Heatseekers Songs charts were introduced by ''Billboard'' in 1991 with the purpose of highlighting the sales by new and developing musical recording artists. Albums and songs appearing on Top Heatseekers may also concurrently appear on the ''Billboard'' 200 or ''Billboard'' Hot 100. Top Christian Albums is a weekly chart published in ''Billboard'' magazine that ranks the best-performing Christian albums in the United States. The 38th Annual GMA Dove Awards were held on April 25, 2007 recognizing accomplishments of musicians for the year 2006. The show was held at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, Tennessee, and was hosted by Brian Littrell, Natalie Grant, and Donnie McClurkin. This was the first year in which the awards were called the "GMA Dove Awards" since the 2006 edition was called the "GMA Music Awards". Nominations were announced earlier on February 20, 2007 by Juanita Bynum, Brian Littrell and Thor Ramsey at the Hilton Nashville Downtown in Music City, Tennessee. Dove Award
A Dove Award is an accolade by the Gospel Music Association (GMA) of the United States to recognize outstanding achievement in the Christian music industry. The awards are presented annually. Formerly held in Nashville, Tennessee, the Dove Awards took place in Atlanta, Georgia during 2011 and 2012, but has since moved back to Nashville. The ceremonies feature live musical performances and are broadcast on TBN. The awards were established in 1969, and represent a variety of musical styles, including rock, pop, hip hop, country, and urban. Shane & Shane is a Texas-based contemporary worship music band known for acoustic praise and worship music. The band consists of Shane Barnard (vocals, acoustic guitar) and Shane Everett (vocals). They are often joined by their drummer and manager, Joey Parish. Background Shane Barnard Barnard grew up in Lubbock, Texas, where he attended Texas Tech University and later Texas A&M University. Point Of Grace
Point of Grace is an all-female contemporary Christian music vocal group. The current trio consists of Shelley Breen, Denise Jones, and Leigh Cappillino. The group started out as a quartet in 1991, with original members Breen and Jones, as well as Terry Jones and Heather Payne. Terry Jones left in November 2003 to spend more time with her family after the birth of her third child, with Cappillino joining in March 2004 for their 2004 release ''I Choose You''.
