''A Future for the Michel'' (''Eine Zukunft für den Michel'') is a compilation album supporting charity by Moya Brennan and Schiller Johann Christoph Friedrich von Schiller (, short: ; 10 November 17599 May 1805) was a German playwright, poet, and philosopher. The album was released in December 2005 to raise money for St. Michel's Church in Hamburg. The compilation features collaborations between the two artists and solo works. All profits from the compilation have gone to the church in order to have it restored and kept open. Only a limited number were released. Moya Brennan
Moya Brennan (born Máire Philomena Ní Bhraonáin on 4 August 1952), also known as Máire Brennan, is an Irish folk singer, songwriter, harpist, and philanthropist. She is the sister of the musical artist known as Enya. She began performing professionally in 1970 when her family formed the band Clannad. Brennan released her first solo album in 1992 called ''Máire (album), Máire'', a successful venture. She has received a Grammy Award from five nominations and has won an Emmy Award. Schiller (band)
Schiller () is a German electronic music band that rose to fame in 1998 and is named after the German poet and dramatist Friedrich Schiller. Originally, it was a duo consisting of Christopher von Deylen () and Mirko von Schlieffen. Around 2001 or 2002, von Schlieffen left the band, leaving von Deylen the solo member. Schiller won the ECHO award in 2002 for the Best Dance Single of the Year with "Dream of You". Schiller has sold over 7 million albums worldwide. Against The Wind (Máire Brennan Song)
"Against the Wind" is Máire Brennan's first solo single, taken from her 1992 album ''Máire''. Two covers were made available, one with a sand pattern and the title of the single, the other with a photograph by Tim Jarvis, of Máire and three dancers, superimposed on the sand pattern. A promotional video directed by the Douglas Brothers was made to accompany the single.
