A Cursive Memory
A Cursive Memory was an American rock band, from Southern California who released an EP and two albums in the period 2006 to 2012. Biography The band originally formed under the name 'Sincerely Me' in 2003 after members Colin Baylen (guitar/vocals) and Shaun Profeta (drums) met at a birthday party. Mark Borst-Smith (bass/keyboards) and Brian Bolen (guitar) completed the fourpiece. They started off playing covers of some of their favorite bands, such as blink-182 and Jimmy Eat World, but eventually grew to write their own original songs and adopted the name A Cursive Memory. Over the course of the next few years, the band built up a small local fan base and self-released their first EP, ''A Cursive Memory'', which was recorded in Bolen's home studio. It featured the original version of The Piano Song. A cameo role, also called a cameo appearance and often shortened to just cameo (), is a brief appearance of a well-known person in a work of the performing arts. Matt Mahaffey
Matt Mahaffey (born June 9, 1973) is an American multi-instrumentalist, record producer, composer, and recording engineer best known for his band Self and his composer collective Cake In Space. Personal Mahaffey grew up in Kingsport, Tennessee and was involved with music from a young age. He started writing songs and playing the drums at age 4 and would often perform with his brother, Mike Mahaffey, when they were growing up. By age eleven, he was playing drums at Dollywood, Dolly Parton's theme park in Pigeon Forge. In the mid-nineties he moved to Murfreesboro, Tennessee and attended MTSU. He lived and worked for 10 years in Murfreesboro and co-founded Spongebath Records. He also formed the band Self in 1994. The Medic Droid
The Medic Droid was an American synthpop band from Phoenix, Arizona. History Beginnings and ''Whats Your Medium'' (2003–2008) The Medic Droid was started in 2005 with Chris Donathon, Hector Bagnod and Johnny Chavez (Droid). Bagnod and Donathon first met in 2003, but Donathon moved away from the city after they met, only to return (and begin the band) a few years later. The group gained a strong initial following through the social networking site Myspace; by mid-2008 the song "Fer Sure" had logged almost 2 million plays on the site and the group had accumulated over 100,000 friends there. Soon they were noticed by manager Avery Andon who brought the band to New York where they played their first live show opening for Enter Shikari at The Bowery Ballroom and caught the eye of A&R's from Epic Records who would later go on to sign the band. The N (standing for Noggin) was a nighttime programming block on the Noggin television channel, aimed at preteens and teenagers. It was launched on April 1, 2002, by Viacom and Sesame Workshop.
