AS Marsa Women's Volleyball
Avenir sportif de La Marsa Women's Volleyball Club (Arabic: نادي المستقبل الرياضي بالمرسي للكرة الطائرة النسائية, English: El Marsa Future Association Club or ASM) is a Tunisian women's Volleyball team based in La Marsa, Tunis Town. It is part of AS Marsa Women's main section since 1944 and currently playing in the Tunisian Women's Volleyball League Top Division. The club won the Tunisian Championship for 6 consecutive years from 1974 to 1979 and the Tunisian Volleyball Cup Crown 7 consecutive times (8 total). La Marsa ( aeb, المرسى ') is a coastal town in far north eastern Tunisia near the capital Tunis. The population is estimated as 92,987, as of 2014. Tunisian Women's Volleyball League
The Tunisian Women's Volleyball League is the highest level of women's volleyball in Tunisia and it is organized by Tunisian Volleyball Federation. The League is currently contested by 10 clubs. The regular season is played by 10 teams, playing each other twice, once at home and once away from home. Volleyball
Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the programme at the Atlanta 1996. The adapted version of volleyball at the Summer Paralympic Games is sitting volleyball.
