ASC Shipbuilding, formerly the shipbuilding division of ASC Pty Ltd, is a subsidiary of BAE Systems Australia and will remain a subsidiary for the duration of the contract to build the ''Hunter'' class frigates. It was structurally separated from ASC Pty Ltd in December 2018 and became a subsidiary of BAE Systems Australia. In 2021 it was renamed as BAE Systems Maritime Australia. American Signal Corporation (ASC) is an outdoor warning siren and mass notification company in the United States. ASC was founded in 1942 as Biersach and Niedermeyer (B&N). After performing poorly, the company reformed as The Alerting Communicators of America (ACA) in 1967 and expanded the line of warning systems they produced. In 1992, ACA went bankrupt and was bought and reformed as the American Signal Corporation. Anglican Schools Commission
The Anglican Schools Commission (ASC) was established in 1985, following the passage of a resolution by the Anglican Diocese of Perth, Perth Diocesan Synod of the Anglican Church of Australia. It was given the role of creating affordable Christian education in the Anglican tradition, and accessible to the disadvantaged and children with disabilities. Since its establishment, the group has founded or acquired nine schools, initially in Western Australia.
