AEK Athletic Club was one of the first Greek clubs to found a youth academy back in 1934, while AEK Athens Football Club have managed them since 1979. Spata Training Centre
The Spata Training Centre ( el, Προπονητικό Κέντρο Σπάτων) is the name given to AEK Athens' training complex, located outside Athens in Spata near Athens International Airport. Also hosting the club's youth academy, the facility replaced the old Thrakomakedones Training Centre, which was in use until 2010. History The new architecturally designed AEK Training Centre has been built since 2010 and it is located in Spata, Attica. It is the home of the club's team and academy and is recognized as one of the best in the Balkans. Dionisis Chiotis
Dionysis Chiotis ( el, Διονύσης Χιώτης; born 4 June 1977) is a Greek former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Currently, he serves as a goalkeeping coach for AEK Athens Academy. Club career AEK Athens Chiotis took his first football steps in the team of Daphni Daphniou Chaidari. There, he was spotted by people of AEK and brought him to the club's academies. After 2.5 years, Dušan Bajević promoted him to the men's team. In January 1999, he went on loan to Ethnikos Piraeus and in July of the same year he went on loan to Proodeftiki for 1 year where he performed very well. Christos Kostis
Christos Kostis ( el, Χρήστος Κωστής, born 15 January 1972) is a Greek former professional footballer who played as a forward. Kostis is widely regarded to be one of the most technical players Greece has ever produced, but his great injury in 1997 stopped his from making a big career. Nikos Georgeas
Nikolaos "Nikos" Georgeas ( el, Νικόλαος "Νίκος" Γεωργέας, born 27 December 1976) is a Greek former professional footballer who played as a right-back. Michalis Pavlis ( el, Μιχάλης Παυλής; born 29 September 1989) is a Greek former professional footballer who played as a striker, and current AEK Athens B assistant manager. Konstantinos "Kostas" Galanopoulos (Greek: Κωνσταντίνος "Κώστας" Γαλανόπουλος, born 28 December 1997) is a Greek professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Super League club AEK Athens and the Greece national team. Panagiotis Tachtsidis ( el, Παναγιώτης Ταχτσίδης; born 15 February 1991) is a Greek professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Emirati club Khor Fakkan.
