Aboriginal Evangelical Fellowship
The Aboriginal Evangelical Fellowship of Australia (AEF) is an Indigenous Australian Christian organisation that was formed in January 1970, in Port Augusta, South Australia. There are a number of churches, in New South Wales and Western Australia, with two bible colleges: AEF Bimbadeen College on the site of the Cootamundra Domestic Training Home for Aboriginal Girls at Cootamundra, New South Wales and Aboriginal Evangelical Fellowship Bible College of WA at Forrestdale, Western Australia. French Equatorial Africa
French Equatorial Africa (french: link=no, Afrique-Équatoriale française), or the AEF, was the federation of French colonial possessions in Equatorial Africa, extending northwards from the Congo River into the Sahel, and comprising what are today the countries of Chad, the Central African Republic, the Republic of the Congo, and Gabon. History Established in 1910, the Federation contained four (later five) colonial possessions: French Gabon, French Congo, Ubangi-Shari and French Chad. The Governor-General was based in Brazzaville with deputies in each territory. In 1911, France ceded parts of the territory to German Kamerun as a result of the Agadir Crisis. The territory was returned after Germany's defeat in World War I, while most of Cameroon proper became a French League of Nations mandate not integrated into the AEF. An Air Experience Flight (AEF) is a training unit of the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve (Training Branch) whose main purpose is to give introductory flying experience to cadets from the Air Training Corps and the Combined Cadet Force. As of 2019, thirteen AEFs are active. History The AEFs, numbered from 1 to 13, were formed across the United Kingdom in 1958, all but two forming on the same day, 8 September. All were equipped with the de Havilland Canada DHC-1 Chipmunk T.10 trainer. An exception was No. 5 AEF, which also operated a single Beagle Husky (''XW635'') from 1969 to 1989. Supreme Headquarters Allied Expeditionary Force (SHAEF; ) was the headquarters of the Commander of Allied forces in north west Europe, from late 1943 until the end of World War II. American Eagle Foundation (AEF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that supports the protection of the bald eagle and other birds of prey. History Between 1961 and 1983, there were no successful bald eagle nests in the state of Tennessee, and the bald eagle was still listed as an endangered species by the federal government. Originally called the National Foundation to Protect America's Eagles, AEF was founded in 1985 to help conserve the bald eagle in Tennessee. In 1990, AEF entered into a multi-year corporate partnership with the Dollywood Company and cooperated with them to develop Eagle Mountain Sanctuary at Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. American Expeditionary Forces
The American Expeditionary Forces (A. E. F.) was a formation of the United States Army on the Western Front of World War I. The A. E. F. was established on July 5, 1917, in France under the command of General John J. Pershing. It fought alongside French Army, British Army, Canadian Army, New Zealand Army and Australian Army units against the Imperial German Army. A small number of A. E. F. troops also fought alongside Italian Army units in that same year against the Austro-Hungarian Army. The A. E. Asia Education Foundation
Asia Education Foundation (AEF) is a joint activity of Asialink to promote Asian literacy within Australian schools. AEF strives for Asian literacy not only in language, but knowledge in geography, history, literature, mathematics, science and culture. Together with Asialink, AEF offers a multitude of programs for educators and principals to travel to the Asia, thereby expanding their knowledge in the region. In recent years, the AEF formed the Business Alliance for Asia Literacy and Education Alliance for Asia Literacy. The Astana International Forum (AIF) is an international and regional platform for dialogue and a nonprofit organization headquartered in Astana, Kazakhstan.
