ACT-CIS Partylist
The ACT-CIS Partylist, officially the Anti-Crime and Terrorism Community Involvement and Support Partylist, is a political organization which has party-list representation in the House of Representatives of the Philippines. They are supported primarily by radio and television broadcasters brothers Raffy Tulfo and Erwin Tulfo. In the 2019 National Elections, ACT-CIS got the most number of votes in the party-list race with 2,651,987 votes. Erwin Tulfo
Erwin Teshiba Tulfo () is a Filipino news anchor, broadcaster, and columnist who was the Secretary of Social Welfare and Development from June 30, 2022, under the presidency of Bongbong Marcos until December 27, 2022 due to his appointment being blocked and bypassed by the Commission on Appointments. He previously worked with PTV's flagship primetime news program ''Ulat Bayan'' and one of its AM radio counterpart Radyo Pilipinas (RP1)'s ''Tutok Erwin Tulfo''. Wanda Corazon Teshiba Tulfo-Teo (; born November 4, 1952) is a Filipino travel agent who served as Secretary of the Philippines' Department of Tourism under the Duterte administration from July 2016 until her resignation on May 8, 2018. Early life and education Wanda Tulfo-Teo was born as Wanda Corazon Teshiba Tulfo on November 4, 1952, to Ramon Silvestre Tulfo Sr. and Caridad Alvar Teshiba in Kidapawan, Cotabato. Ramon "Mon" Teshiba Tulfo Jr. (; born November 22, 1946) is a Filipino TV host, radio broadcaster and columnist for ''The Philippine Star''. Early life and career He is the eldest of ten siblings (7 boys, 3 girls). Kontra Daya (Against Fraud) is an election watchdog based in the Philippines. The organization counts teachers, members of the clergy, information technology experts, and activists among its members. Eric Go Yap (born May 11, 1979) is a Filipino politician serving as the Representative for Benguet's lone congressional district since 2022, and was the district's legislative caretaker from January 2020 until he was elected in his own right. Samuel Duldulao Pagdilao, Jr. (born February 13, 1957), is a retired Filipino police officer and politician who served in the House of Representatives from 2013 to 2016. Pagdilao used to work as director general of the Philippine National Police (PNP), holding multiple positions and receiving a number of distinctions and recognition in his 34-year stint as a police officer. Party-list representation in the House of Representatives of the Philippines refers to a system in which 20% of the House of Representatives is elected. While the House is predominantly elected by a plurality voting system, known as a first-past-the-post system, party-list representatives are elected by a type of party-list proportional representation. The 1987 Constitution of the Philippines created the party-list system. Originally, the party-list was open to underrepresented community sectors or groups, including labor, peasant, urban poor, indigenous cultural, women, youth, and other such sectors as may be defined by law (except the religious sector).
