AB Disques
AB Disques is a record label created by AB Productions in 1991 to release the records of their house singers. Previously, the records produced by the company were simply stamped "AB Productions" or "AB Hits". AB Disques was one of the premier independent labels in Europe in the 1990s with artists such as Dorothée and Hélène Rollès, as well as numerous actors from sitcoms produced by AB Productions. The AB Disques catalogue, today called "Panorama AB", consists of almost 1,200 songs, nearly all of which were written and composed by Jean-Luc Azoulay and Gérard Salesses. However, in the 1970s and 1980s, AB Productions also produced celebrities such as Arielle Dombasle and Steve Gabsi. Mediawan Thematics (formerly known as AB Groupe) is a French business group in the field of broadcasting. It was founded in 1977 by Jean-Luc Azoulay and Claude Berda as a music production company, and in 1987 went into the world of television. On October 11, 2018, AB Groupe was rebranded to Mediawan Thematics after the purchase by Mediawan Mediawan is a French media conglomerate. Chantal de Guerre (; born 10 June 1942), known as Chantal Goya (), is a French singer and actress. Goya started her career as a ''yé-yé'' girl, singing a catchy mid-1960s hybrid of girl-group pop and French ''chanson''. She also enjoyed a career as a French New Wave actress; she had a starring role as Madeleine in the 1966 Jean-Luc Godard film ' and in Jean-Daniel Pollet's ' (''Love is joy, love is sad''). Carlos (born Yvan-Chrysostome Dolto; February 20, 1943 — January 17, 2008) was a French singer, entertainer and actor. He is sometimes called Jean-Christophe Doltovitch. Biography He was the son of the psychoanalyst Françoise Dolto and the physiotherapist Boris Dolto (born Doltovitch) a Russian migrant from Crimea. He also obtained a diploma in 1961 at ''l’École française d'orthopédie et de masso-kinésithérapie'', headed by his father. At the age of 14 he met Johnny Hallyday, who befriended him. He was renamed Carlos in 1958, in homage to the percussionist Carlos "Patato" Valdes. He then became Hallyday's artistic assistant. William Leymergie (born 4 February 1947 in Libourne) is a French journalist television producer and host, best known for the French breakfast television news show ''Télématin'', broadcast on public broadcaster France 2 and TV5 in Canada. François Corbier (17 October 1944 – 1 July 2018) was a French television presenter and songwriter. Early life Corbier was born as Alain Roux in 1944 in Paris. Career Corbier began his career as a songwriter in Parisian cabarets, where he worked from 1962 to 1982. Bradley Thomas Cole (born February 11, 1959) is an American actor. Early years Singer-songwriter, actor, and producer, Bradley "Brad" Cole was born and raised in Southern California. He began guitar lessons at 8 years old and was heavily influenced by rock and soul music from the 1960s and 70s.
