The South African Premier Division, officially referred to as the DStv Premiership for sponsorship purposes, is the premier men's professional sports, professional association football, football/soccer league and the highest division in the league system of South Africa, organized since 1996. Irvin Khoza
Irvin Khoza (born January 27, 1948) is a South African football administrator and businessman. Nicknamed "Iron Duke / Squveve", he is the Chairman of Orlando Pirates Football Club, Chairman of the South African Premier Soccer League and by virtue of this, Vice-President of the South African Football Association. His relationship with Orlando Pirates started in 1980, when he became its secretary and owner in 1991. As the Chairman of the Premier Soccer League, he was instrumental in securing the current sponsors of the league, Absa Group Limited. He was also the Chairman of the 2010 FIFA World Cup Organising Committee South Africa, after serving as the Chairman of South Africa's 2010 FIFA World Cup bid. CAF 5-Year Ranking
The CAF 5-Year Ranking system is used by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to determine the number of clubs that each member association may enter its club football competitions; the CAF Champions League and the CAF Confederation Cup. At present, those associations ranked in the top 12 may enter two teams into each of the two club competitions, while the remaining associations are limited to a single team in each competition. Origins Prior to 2004, CAF organized 3 club tournaments; the CAF Champions League, the African Cup Winners' Cup and the CAF Cup with each association allowed to enter a single team in each tournament.
