AAA Mega Championship
The AAA Mega Championship is a professional wrestling world heavyweight championship in the Mexican Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA) promotion. Known officially in Spanish as the ''Mega Campeonato AAA'', it is sometimes referred to in the English-language press as the "AAA World Heavyweight Championship". The title is the top championship of the AAA promotion. The current champion is El Hijo del Vikingo. The title was established in 2007 via a single elimination tournament billed as the "''Torneo Campeón de Campeones''", or Champion of Champions Tournament, which effectively unified the International Wrestling Council (IWC) World Heavyweight Championship, the Grand Prix Championship Wrestling (GPCW) SUPER-X Monster Championship, the Mexican National Heavyweight Championship, and the Universal Wrestling Association (UWA) World Light Heavyweight Championship. Juan Aguilar Leos (born July 31, 1984) is a Mexican ''luchador'', or professional wrestler, better known by the ring name Texano Jr. Aguilar is the son of Juan Conrado Aguilar Jáuregui, who wrestled under the name El Texano; Aguilar's brother is a wrestler known as Súper Nova / Bengala and he has several uncles and cousins that are professional wrestlers including El Dandy, Mictlán, Pólvora and Inquisidor. Kevin Citlali Zamora (born June 2, 1975) is a Mexican Luchador or professional wrestler, better known under his ring name Chessman. He currently performs and works for Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA). Throughout his career, Chessman has been a part of several factions, such as The Black Family, Lucha Libre Latina (LLL), La Secta Cibernetica, La Secta del Mesías and Los Hell Brothers. Lucha Underground was an American professional wrestling promotion founded in 2014 by United Artists Media Group. Partly owned by Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA), ''Lucha Underground'' also refers to its weekly television program, which featured characters portrayed by wrestlers from the American and Mexican independent circuits. The series originally aired in English on El Rey Network and in Spanish on UniMás. Rey Fénix (born December 30, 1990) is a Mexican ''luchador enmascarado'' (masked professional wrestler) signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA), where he is current double champion as the Latin American and World Cruiserweight Champion. ''Verano de Escándalo'' (2007) (Spanish for "Summer of Scandal") was the eleventh annual ''Verano de Escándalo'' professional wrestling show promoted by Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA). The show took place on September 16, 2007 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. Gilbert Cosme Ramírez (born May 25, 1972) is a Puerto Rican professional wrestler, better known by his ring names El Mesías, Mil Muertes, Ricky Banderas and King Muertes. Jesús Cristóbal Martínez Rodriguez (born July 25, 1975) is a Mexican ''luchador'' (professional wrestler) who is best known as El Zorro. His gimmick started out very similar to the fictional character Zorro complete with mask, but in recent years it has evolved and the mask has been eliminated. He is best known for his work in the Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA) promotion in Mexico, where he is a former AAA Mega Champion.
