AAA Commonwealth District
The AAA Commonwealth District is a high school conference in the state of Virginia that includes schools from Stafford and Spotsylvania counties. AAA is the largest enrollment class of the Virginia High School League and also typically the most competitive level in Virginia high school sports. The Commonwealth District schools competed in the AAA Northwest Region with the schools from the AAA Cardinal District, the AAA Cedar Run District, and the AAA Western Valley District until the 2013 VHSL District Reclassification. Stafford Senior High School
Stafford Senior High School (colloquially known as Stafford High School and often called South Stafford High School) is a State school, public Secondary school, high school in Stafford, Virginia, Stafford, Virginia, United States. It was established in 1926 and is part of the Stafford County Public Schools district. History The first Stafford High School opened in 1926. The school was located near the Stafford County Courthouse in what is now part of the Alvin York Bandy Administrative Complex. Chancellor High School
Chancellor High School is a public high school accredited by the Southern Association of Secondary Schools. It is located in Salem District in the northwestern portion of Spotsylvania County, VA, United States. History Chancellor High School opened in the fall of 1988 and is one of five high schools in Spotsylvania County. Currently Chancellor High School has a student population of approximately 1357. Courtland High School is a public high school located in Spotsylvania County, Virginia. Founded in 1980, Courtland currently has 1,174 students (2021-2022 school year). History Courtland High School was founded in 1980 as Spotsylvania County's second public high school, after Spotsylvania High School. Courtland High school got a new renovation in 2019, this renovation included renewing the office to look more modern and replacing the football field to a new blue field. North Stafford High School
North Stafford High School is one of the five high schools in the Stafford County, Virginia public school system. It instructs students in grades 9 through 12. History Completed in 1981, North Stafford High School was the second high school to be built in Stafford County. Robert White served as the school's principal from 1981 until 1997. Numerous changes occurred in the school during the next five years under the guidance of principals Henry Johnson and James Stemple including changing the school's colors to the current colors of Navy blue, Columbia blue, and Orange.
