Avanhard Stadium (other)
Avanhard Stadium ( uk, Стадіон «Авангард») is number of stadiums in Ukraine. All the stadiums were part of the Soviet sports society of Ukrainian industries Avanhard. In 1987, along with Spartak and other sports societies, it was merged into the sport society of Trade Unions that existed until the fall of the Soviet Union. Luhansk People's Republic National Football Team
The Luhansk People's Republic football team (or Lugansk) is a team representing the Luhansk People's Republic (LPR), a disputed Russian republic in eastern Ukraine. The team is not affiliated with FIFA or UEFA and therefore cannot compete for the FIFA World Cup or the UEFA European Championship. Occasionally, the LPR team has been a member of CONIFA, although it currently is not as of November 2022. History The Luhansk Football Union was founded on October 4, 2014. FC Zorya Luhansk alumnus Anatoliy Kuksov coached the team prior to his death in January 2022. The Luhansk or Lugansk People's Republic (russian: Луга́нская Наро́дная Респу́блика, Luganskaya Narodnaya Respublika, ; abbreviated as LPR or LNR, rus, ЛНР) is a disputed entity created by Russian-backed separatists in eastern Ukraine, which claims Luhansk Oblast. Luhansk (, ; uk, Луганськ, ), also known as Lugansk (, ; russian: Луганск, ), is a city in what is internationally recognised as Ukraine, although it is administered by Russia as capital of the Luhansk People's Republic (LPR). As of 2021, the population was estimated to be 399,559, making Luhansk the most populous city in the region and the 12th largest in Ukraine. In 2001, nearly half of the population was ethnically Ukrainian, and 47% was ethnically Russian. Avanhard (sports society) ( uk, Авангард (спортивне товариство)) was a trade unions sports society of the Ukrainian SSR. Created in 1957, it was uniting workers of industry and construction from 14 other sport societies such as "Torpedo", "Shakhtar", "Khimik", "Chervona Zirka", "Chervonyi Prapor", "Budivelnyk", and others. Brief description On January 1, 1977, it accounted for 3,199 primary collectives with over two millions of sportsmen. The society was cultivating 49 types of sports.
