Austrian Olympic Committee
The Austrian Olympic Committee (ÖOC) (german: link=no, Österreichisches Olympisches Comité) is the non-profit organization representing Austrian athletes in the International Olympic Committee (IOC). The ÖOC also represents the selection of Austrian cities in their bid for being the site for an Olympic Games. ÖOC is headquartered in Vienna. Hias Leitner
Matthias "Hias" Leitner (born September 22, 1935) is an Austrian former alpine skiing, alpine skier. He was born in Kitzbühel. At the 1960 Winter Olympics in Squaw Valley Ski Resort, Squaw Valley, United States he won silver in the slalom skiing, slalom competition. At the 1964 Winter Olympics in Innsbruck, Austria he ranked 21st in the slalom competition. In 1966, 1967, and 1968 he won the Alpine skiing professional ski racing circuit. Diana Hinko (born 30 November 1943) is an Austrian former pair skater. Competing with Heinz Döpfl, she became a three-time national champion (1959–1961). Regine Heitzer
Regine Heitzer (born 16 February 1944) is a retired Austrian figure skater. She competed at the 1960 and 1964 Winter Olympics and won a silver medal in the singles event in 1964. Between 1960 and 1965 she also won 11 medals at European and world championships. In 1967 she turned professional and skated for Vienna Ice Revue and Holiday on Ice. She retired in 1971 due to a knee injury and rarely danced since then – in 1979 she skated with Emmerich Danzer to promote the World Championships in Vienna. In the 1970s she turned to her father's business, wholesale upholstery fabrics, investing her earnings from her professional career. She eventually took over the company and converted it to a furniture store before retiring in 2010.
