Australia Women's Cricket Team In New Zealand In 2020–21
The Australia women's cricket team played against New Zealand women's cricket team in March and April 2021. The tour took place during the time that was originally scheduled to be used to host the 2021 Women's Cricket World Cup. However, the tournament was postponed by one year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Women's One Day International
Women's One Day International (WODI) is the limited overs form of women's cricket. Matches are scheduled for 50 overs, equivalent to the men's game. The first women's ODIs were played in 1973, as part of the first Women's World Cup which was held in England. The first ODI saw the hosts beat an International XI. The 1,000th women's ODI took place between South Africa and New Zealand on 13 October 2016. WODI status is determined by the International Cricket Council (ICC) and was restricted to full members of the ICC. In May 2022, the ICC awarded WODI status to five more teams.
