Roy Atwell
John Leroy "Roy" Atwell (May 2, 1878 – February 6, 1962) was an American actor, comedian and composer, known for playing characters that mis-deliver their lines or stammer, most notably Doc from Walt Disney's classic Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Biography Born in 1878, Atwell was educated at the Sargent School of Acting, and appeared in 34 films between 1914 and 1947. He was the voice of Doc in Disney's ''Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs''. As well as his film work, he appeared in several Broadway productions, including ''The Little Missus,'' ''The Mimic World,'' ''Oh, My Dear!,'' '' The Firefly'', and ''How's Your Health?'' He was a member of the Fortune Gallo's San Carlo Opera Company, and joined ASCAP in 1957. He composed the popular song ''Some Little Bug is Going to Find You.'' ''Present Arms'' is a Broadway musical comedy that opened April 26, 1928, with music by Richard Rodgers, lyrics by Lorenz Hart, and book by Herbert Fields. It was produced by Lew Fields with musical numbers stage by Busby Berkeley. It ran for 155 performances at the Lew Fields' Mansfield Theatre, which today is known as the Brooks Atkinson Theatre. ''Present Arms'' was filmed in 1930 with Irene Dunne, with its title changed to ''Leathernecking''. The film is presumed lost. Yvonne Atwell
Yvonne Atwell (born 1943) is a Canadian community activist, former provincial politician and former hospital administrator. She is known for being the first Black woman elected to the Nova Scotia House of Assembly. Early life and education Yvonne Atwell was born in East Preston, Nova Scotia, in 1943. She left the province seeking work opportunities elsewhere. She studied at Centennial College in Ontario and at Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia. Career Atwell worked for 20 years as an administrator at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto, Ontario, eventually rising to the position of Head of Patient Services. She returned to Nova Scotia in 1984. Chatarius "Tutu" Atwell (born October 7, 1999) is an American football wide receiver for the Los Angeles Rams of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Louisville, and was drafted by the Rams in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft. Early years Atwell attended Miami Northwestern Senior High School in Miami, Florida. Robert Ronald Atwell (born 3 August 1954) is a British Anglican bishop, writer, and former Benedictine monk. Since April 2014, he has been the Bishop of Exeter.
