Attorney General Of Brunei
The Attorney General's Office of Brunei is the public prosecutor of Brunei, and Legal advice, legal adviser to the Government of Brunei. The functions of the attorney general are carried out with the assistance of the deputy attorney-general and the solicitor-general, through the Attorney General's Chambers (AGC). Moreover, assisting the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) and other enforcement agencies in carrying out their investigations, advising and approving prosecutions. History was established by the Constitution in 1959. Prior to the proclamation, the Attorney General of Sarawak had served as the legal adviser to Brunei's federal government. The Council of Cabinet Ministers () is the body of high-ranking Brunei officials, consisting of the top leaders of the executive branch of Brunei government. Led by the List of Sultans of Brunei, Sultan himself, who has also been the Prime Minister of Brunei since 1984. The Council consists of the Prime Minister (the Hassanal Bolkiah, Sultan), the Senior Minister (the Crown Prince of Brunei, Crown Prince), ministers and the second ministers, and deputy ministers of respectives ministries. Hayati Binti Mohd Salleh
Hayati binti Mohd Salleh (or simply Hayati Salleh) is a Bruneian lawyer and the first female Attorney General of Brunei, who served the office from 2009 to 2018. She is also the first female High Court Judge in the Supreme Court of Brunei, as well as the first Bruneian Malay woman to be called to the English Bar.
