Athletics At The 2023 SEA Games – Women's Results
The women's athletics competitions at the 2023 SEA Games in Cambodia took place between 6 and 1 May 2023. Track and field events took place at the Morodok Techo National Stadium in Phnom Penh while the marathon and 20 km walk events took place at Angkor Wat. Athletics is a group of sporting events that involves competitive running, jumping, throwing sports, throwing, and walking. The most common types of athletics competitions are track and field, road running, cross country running, and racewalking. Zaidatul Husniah Zulkifli (born 20 August 1993) is a Malaysian sprinter who primarily competes in the 100 metres and 200 metres and 4 × 100 metres relay. She competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, in the women's 100 metres. Trương Thanh Hằng (born 1 May 1986 in Ho Chi Minh City) is a Vietnamese track and field athlete who specialises in middle-distance running events. She is the Vietnamese record holder over both 800 metres and 1500 metres. She is one of Asia's foremost middle-distance runners, having been Asian champion over 800 m both indoors and outdoors. She was a double silver medallist for Vietnam at the 2010 Asian Games. Liu Dong (; born 27 December 1973 in Jinzhou) is a retired Chinese middle-distance runner. She holds the current Asian record over 800 metres with 1:55.54 minutes. She set that record while winning at the 7th Chinese National Games. Her personal best over 1500 metres was 3:56.31 minutes. Goh Chui Ling
Goh Chui Ling (born 27 November 1992) is a national track and field athlete from Singapore specialising in middle-distance events. She was a member of the 4x400 women's team and 4x400 mixed team that set the current national records. She also holds the national record for the women's 1,500m, 2.4 km, 3,000m, 5,000m, and women's 5km and 10km (road).
