Tokyo National Stadium
The Japan National Stadium, officially named and formerly known as or , is a multi-purpose stadium used mostly for association football in Kasumigaokamachi, Kasumigaoka, Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan. Daniel Jonathan Sidbury (born 3 April 1994) is a British wheelchair racer. He won the silver medal in the men's 1500 metres T54 event at the 2022 Commonwealth Games held in Birmingham, England. He is also a two-time bronze medalist at the 2023 World Para Athletics Championships held in Paris, France. Career Sidbury is a T54-classified athlete who competes in wheelchair racing competitions. Alexey Bychenok (born 31 July 1986) is a Russian male cross-country skier and biathlete who is also engaged with the Paralympic athletics. He represented Russia at the 2014 Winter Paralympics and competed in the biathlon events. Alexey claimed his first Paralympic medal for Russia after claiming a silver medal in the men's middle sitting event during the 2014 Winter Paralympics. Kenny van Weeghel (born 16 September 1980 in Zwolle) is a Paralympic athlete from the Netherlands competing in the 100, 200 and 400 m T54 class wheelchair racing. He participated in the Paralympic games six times already and he has won 6 Paralympic medals among which two golden ones. Athletics career Weeghel won the 200m at the European Championships in 2001. This was his first main title and there were many to come. In 2002 he became World Champion by winning the 100m and a year later he won both the 100m and 200m during the World Championships. Liu Yang (born 10 April 1990) is a Paralympian athlete from China competing mainly in T54 classification sprint events. Before achieving success as an athlete, Liu ventured into para-cycling, but switched shortly after his international cycling debut. Paracycling career Liu took up para-sport in 2006, and at first looked at para-cycling where he was classified as a handcyclist. He competed at the 2007 UCI Para-Cycling World Championships in Boudreaux, where he failed to qualify for the final of the road race, and finished 17th in the time trial. Athletics career Liu first represented China as a wheelchair racer at the 2011 IPC Athletics World Championships in Christchurch, New Zealand. Samuel Harrison Carter (born 6 August 1991) is a Paralympic athlete, who competes in 100m, 200m, 400m T54 events. He has represented Australia at the 2016 Rio Paralympics and 2020 Tokyo Paralympics. Personal Carter was born on 6 August 1991, He attended Harristown State High School in Queensland. Before becoming a wheelchair racer, He was actively engaged in sport in particular swimming and wheelchair basketball.
